Mike is currently the drummer for Randy Rainbow LIVE and a substitute drummer for CHICAGO The Musical on Broadway. He toured with CHICAGO The Musical for five years, and has performed across the US, Canada, Mexico, and in Tokyo, Osaka, Manilla, & Tel Aviv. He’s performed with Paragon Ragtime Orchestra, and was substitute drummer for 1776 on Brodway.

In addition to recording himself on drums and percussion, Mike produces and mixes music and podcasts. THE WORLD TO COME, a remotely produced epic musical theater odyssey featuring over 20 actors and 50 songs, was a 2021 Webby Award Honoree for Best Episode. Mike draws on his diverse interests and influences to create original works, including releases as Myc El and ToastMasc.

Mike has toured Sinaloa, Mexico, performing Traditional Irish Music with Into The Sun. He was Associate Director of the Junior Fellows Program and House Drummer/Percussionist at The O’Neill Center’s Cabaret Conference (MAC Board of Directors Award), also Music Coordinator, Conductor, and Drummer for THE ANTHEM Off-Broadway, and can be heard playing Traditional Irish Bodhrán for the FINDING NEVERLAND segment on the 68th Annual Tony Awards.

Active in cabaret, Mike is perhaps best known as the percussionist from Barb Jungr’s MAC Award Nominated HARD RAIN at 59E59, with Tracy Stark on Piano. He has also performed with Tori Scott, John McDaniel, Wells Hanley, Molly Pope, Marissa Mulder, Shawn Ryan, and Jesse Kissel at The O'Neill Center, Joe's Pub, 54 Below, The Duplex, Don't Tell Mama, Metropolitan Room, and Stage72.

Lunoe's Sunflowers (Helianthus gronus, Helianthus spilarum), a sound sculpture Mike made in collaboration with Paul Schuette and Mary Laube of The Warp Whistle Project, was shown at Philadelphia's University of the Arts in 2016.

Mike holds a Masters of Music in Classical Percussion from CCM, where he was a graduate teaching assistant. He completed a dual degree at The University of Hartford; Summa Cum Laude from The Hartt School with a B. Music in Classical Percussion, and Summa Cum Laude from the College of Engineering and Architecture with a B. Science in Acoustical Engineering & Music. His minor is in Mathematics.
